If you found us via one of my little stuffed cat/bunny things, then awesome. My weird advertisement is working. If you’re here through anything else (like my other tumblr or I don’t know, anywhere else I’ve put it), then awesome as well. It doesn’t matter. So long as you get here.
i left this here for you to read is a part literary magazine, part social networking, and part Awesome. [Awesome is my favorite word. Have you noticed?] It’s based off an idea started by a guy named Tim Devin in his project of the same name.
Read all about the origins and such there.
Here’s where I need your help. This magazine depends on submissions from people like you. The rules are the same as on the mother site:
written word must be no longer than 1,200 words
images must be greyscale (black and white)
physical objects must be flat, or very thin, and smaller than 8 1/2 x 5. They should be able to fit into a small envelope or two-inch square plastic bag, or able to staple or tape to a piece of paper. All objects must be nontoxic and legal. Important: if you do in fact decide to send a physical object, you must send 50 copies, or 50 different objects.
appropriate material must be presented. This magazine will go out to the public, and the public includes children, and as such, material containing nudity or obscenity will either be edited out or not published at all.
If it follows the rules, I’ll automatically include it into the magazine. Contributors will get a copy of the magazine.
My goal is to get enough submissions to publish and distribute the magazine in time for April. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
